Catholic Men's Society (CMS):
 

Meets monthly, every 2nd Thursday at 7.30 pm is the conference room at St. Wulstan's, for prayer and discussion. They also offers help to perform simple tasks around the parish when required, e.g. maintenance, stewarding.  For more information contact Paul Walton 01562 751439

Stourport Justice and Peace Group

An interdenominational group that meets monthly at different churches around Stourport, usually on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm; see below for this year's programme. Most meetings have an invited speaker on topical issues of concern. Occasionally trips are organised and there is usually a social event every year. St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP):

The local branches of this national organisation meet weekly for prayer on Mondays. The Stourport conference meet for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Wulstan's at 7.00 pm while the Bewdley conference meet at 7.30 pm at Holy Family for Vespers. Members make visits to to sick and housebound on a regular basis putting in many voluntary hours per year. They are always looking for more help. If you wish to contact the group you can go along to a meeting on Monday or telephone the prestbytery.

The Sunny Trust:

A fundraising and support organisation for Fr Sunny Mavelil, a priest from the Diocese of Tura, Garo Hills, Meghalaya, North East India. The Trust organises social and other fundraising events and there are occasional collections. Since being established in 2006 the parish has provided over £50,000 of aid, buying transportation vehicles and building training and administration facilities. Close contact is maintained by regular visits in both directions. For more information about the Trust you can visit their own web site www.thesunnytrust.org.uk.

The Monday Club:

An ad hoc group who usually meet for coffee, tea, biscuits and chat after Mass/Eucharistic Service at St. Wulstan's on a Monday morning. Everyone is welcome to come along, catch up with friends and make some new ones.

Roman Ramblers:

An occasional and (mostly) fair weather group of walkers who enjoy days out in the countryside and the odd visit to local hostelries for refreshment. The group have discovered many a local beauty spot in recent years and enjoyed being out in the company of friends. Walks are organised (often on Bank Holidays) by Deacon John O'Brien and announced in the newsletter.
